Lucky

When I was a kid, I’ve always wanted a dog. It was 2012 when one of my family members on my mom’s side that was giving away this black and white Schnoodle (Half Schnauzer/ Half Poodle). I of course begged my parents to go check her out, and the time that we got to see her I not surprisingly wanted her. They already named her Lucky, and it have not changed because she was already used to it.

When we brought her home, my mom did nottt like her. She said that she was such an ugly dog. But I thought otherwise. I thought she was adorable, and really wanted to keep her.

My mom started to fall in love with her when she noticed how smart Lucky is. As they say Personality over looks. But I’ve loved her so since day one, no matter how cute or ugly.

Lucky has had her bad days, period days just like females do, but for every 6 months. So if you ever a get a female puppy, take responsibility for her bleeding, and watch out for where she goes because you wouldn’t want blood stains everywhere. But now that she’s getting older so she doesn’t have any more bleeding or discharges.

Lucky is such a smart dog, I believe that her IQ is as high as a kite, you have to experience from my perspective to see for yourself. She’s a one of a kind. My family had already trained her some basic shit like how to sit, and taught her to give her paw. But I was so young, and bored, my little puppy at the time wanted to shit everywhere! So I’ve trained her to not shit inside but to do her business outside when needed.

You may notice on my instagram I’d post her occasionally. I’ve recorded and edited videos of her because she’s my first dog, and honestly I just want to capture moments with her because she’s getting older. She’s 9 years almost 10, and her leg has been hurting, she’ll cripple walk, and she’s a lot slower than before. So I want to capture so much of her, so that I have so many memories of my first baby.

Tomorrow, I’m going to blog about how to train your new puppy if you’re just getting started on becoming a mommy to a new baby puppy, and taking responsibilities or looking forward into owning one. I’ll talk about how to train, and the supplies I’d recommend for you to get.

FUN FACT: DOGS CAN’T SEE THE SAME COLORS WE DO

  1. Sweet Post. I have had a lot of dogs myself. Just recently I had to put my chinese pug down. It just about killed me. I am very much a dog lover. But since this happening, I have decided no more for me. But I love seeing others enjoying and loving their dogs. There is nothing like having a dog because they are so loving no matter what. I miss my Chloe so so much.
